Dr. Wilson G. Bradshaw has been appointed president of Florida Gulf Coast University. Previously, Bradshaw served as president of Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minn., where he was also a professor of psychology and a member of the graduate faculty. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s from Florida Atlantic University and a doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh.




Dr. Angela R. Ballentine has been appointed vice president of instruction at Vance Granville Community College (N.C.). Previously, she was dean of the health sciences division. She holds a bachelor’s from Greensboro College and a master’s and a doctorate from North Carolina State University.




Dr. Christopher Bowman has been appointed associate dean in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Colorado-Boulder. He most recently served as chair of the chemical and biological engineering department. Bowman received a bachelor’s and a doctorate from Purdue University.




Dr. Janice Brewington has been appointed provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs of North Carolina A&T State University. Among her previous positions, she served at the institution as assistant dean in the School of Nursing. She received a bachelor’s from A&T, a master’s from Emory University and a doctorate from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.




Dr. Nina Caldwell has been named vice president of student life at Maryville University in St. Louis. Most recently, she was the dean of student life at Maryville. Caldwell earned a bachelor’s from Dillard University, a master’s from Illinois State University, an MBA from Maryville and a doctorate from the University of San Francisco.




Jean Jordan has been named dean of admissions at Emory University (Ga.). Formerly, she served as interim dean of admission at Emory and director of enrollment services at the university. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Stetson University and a master’s from Georgia State University.




Dr. Toni Manogin has been named dean of Nursing & Allied Health at Baton Rouge Community College (La.). Formerly, she was assistant professor of nursing at Southern University. She earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Southern University and a doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.




Dr. Bernadette Mendonez Russell has been named provost at Palm Beach County Community College’s Boca Raton campus. She earned a bachelor’s from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines, a master’s from Ateneo de Manila University in Quezón City, Philippines, and a master’s and a doctorate from Syracuse University.




Dr. Cynthia R. D. Selassie, a professor of chemistry at Pomona College (Calif.), has been appointed associate dean of the college. Selassie earned a bachelor’s degree from Mount St. Mary’s College, a master’s from Duke University and a doctorate from the University of Southern California.
