Loston was previously director of education and special assistant for suborbital and special orbital projects directorate for the Goddard Space Flight Center’s Wallops Flight Facility and chief education officer for NASA at its headquarters in Washington, D.C. She also served as NASA’s associate administrator for education and senior education advisor. Former president of San Jacinto College South, Loston has also held several administrative educational positions for the past four decades.
