Nana Bulaba Sang-Bender

Nana Sang-Bender, an international relations graduate student, competed on Syracuse University’s 3,200-meter relay team that earned an Eastern College Athletic Conference-qualifying time at the 2009 Big East Indoor Championships. Sang-Bender has twice earned Big East All-Academic selections. Last summer, the Syracuse native served as research intern for the Center for Strategic and International Studies’ Africa program, which conducts research and analysis on major elements of U.S. policy toward Africa. She holds a 3.41 cumulative GPA.
