Evans Kosgei, a junior computer science and engineering major at Lehigh University, placed second at the 2009 Patriot League Cross Country Championship. Kosegi, the first Lehigh runner to earn Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year honors, has made the dean’s list — which requires a minimum 3.60 GPA— every semester of his undergraduate career. The Moiben, Kenya, native also mentors 10 young men from his homeland. He holds a 3.95 cumulative GPA.
