In her senior year, Kastine Evans has played for the University of Kentucky women’s basketball team for four years.  She is sixth on the team in scoring this year, shooting 32 percent from three-point territory. The business management major was awarded UK’s Darrell A. VanMeter Community Service Award after creating her own nonprofit organization called “Shooting at Success,” which teaches children strong character development, how to establish dynamic and powerful personalities and how to achieve in academics and life.
