As a senior, Samford University’s Jeremy Towns served as a backup on the defensive line and saw action in all 11 games during the 2012 season. He finished with 36 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 2013. Towns has been on the dean’s list and earned Southern Conference Academic All-Conference honors, majoring in sports medicine.
