Basketball player Bryanna Brown of Lincoln University was named College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) First Team Academic All-American, the first Lincoln student-athlete to earn the honor. A finance major, she sustained a 4.0 GPA for seven consecutive semesters and has been on the dean’s list eight times. Brown is a member of Delta Sigma Theta and has participated in community service with the sorority and as an individual. “Bryanna has dedicated herself to being great, being grateful, and giving back,” says women’s basketball head coach Janice Washington. “She is such an active part of our campus community and embraces all the characteristics you want in a student-athlete.”
