Golfer Ivana Shah of the University of Akron is a biomedical engineering major with a 3.9 cumulative GPA. She received the 2021 Dinah Shore Trophy Award bestowed by the Ladies Professional Golf Association’s LPGA Foundation annually to one Division I athlete who excels in academics and athletics. Shah helped lead the Zips to three top 10 finishes. She competed in three-of-four fall events with a 76 scoring average while earning a 1-1-1 record in the Mid-American Match Play Challenge. She is the co-founder of Call to Action, a volunteer organization that facilitates volunteering opportunities for local nonprofit groups to encourage community service.
