She has served as a grants administrator at Howard University, policy analyst for the White House Office of Management and Budget, program manager for NOAA’s Office of Education, director of minority affairs for the American Society for Cell Biology in Bethesda, Md., and management specialist at the U.S. Agency for International Development. She has developed education and research training programs, including STEM education that impacts K-12 and postsecondary students.
