UND Gets Grants for Health Fields

BISMARCK, N.D. —The University of North Dakota is getting $640,000 to provide scholarships to disadvantaged students pursuing degrees in health care, nursing and other health professions.

North Dakota’s congressional delegation says the money comes from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration.
Officials say North Dakota will have 4,430 registered nurse openings by 2020.
