CUMREC Technology Conference Set for Phoenix

College and University Machine Records is holding its annual conference, CUMREC 2001, in Phoenix on May 13-16, at the Pointe South Mountain Resort.
CUMREC is an association of higher education administrative technology professionals and also is affiliated with the EDUCAUSE organization.
The conference program includes more than 60 general presentations distributed across seven information technology tracks, including topics such as Web development strategy, making the most of IT investments, and building a Web-based course approval system.
There will be corporate presentations by leading IT companies in the higher education market. The conference includes an exhibit hall, providing attendees the opportunity to meet with representatives from 50 companies showcasing their products and services.
CUMREC also provides an opportunity for attendees to network with colleagues who have similar interests and responsibilities through Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings.
