Keeping the Core Mission

Keeping the Core Mission

Thank you for the information on Black cultural centers (see “The Evolution of Black Culture Centers,” Jan. 11). It’s heartwarming to now know that there are many institutions and individuals who know the value of “knowing African/Black history.” Providing additional services is an excellent way to keep current as long as the core mission is not compromised. I still find it curious that many individuals are threatened by institutions that teach African/Black history. Keep up the great work!
