Texas House Approves Changes to Top 10 Percent Admission Rule

The Texas House of Represented on Monday approved changes to the rule that provides automatic college admission to students who graduated in the top 10 percent of their high school class.

The change would allow The University of Texas at Austin to cap enrollment of Top 10 students at 75 percent of the freshman class, according to a story in the Dallas Morning News.
