Video-gaming as an Intramural Sport?

Typical university intramural sports offerings include basketball, flag football and even volleyball, but at Youngstown State University in Ohio students now have the option of video game intramurals. After a very popular video game tournament was held last spring, where there were 64 participants with 12 alternates and droves of cheering fans, YSU administrators decided to add a video-gaming league to the intramural schedule last fall.
