Programs Offers Grants to Help Pay College Tuition

Thanks to federal stimulus funds promised to the state of Indiana, a new grant has been created that will assist Hoosiers in paying their tuition for a two-year college program, books and fees.  On July 30, the Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD) and Indiana Commission for Higher Education announced the program n Workforce Acceleration Grant  will provide each eligible Hoosier with up to $3,000 per year, the Peru Tribune reported.
