Millersville University drops its MBA program

Millersville University, located in Millersville, Pa., will temporarily discontinue offering a master’s degree in business administration.  According to Lancasteronline.com, an upgrade is needed which requires mandatory and tougher accrediting standards.  A dean at the university said the discontinuance will not affect the 35 or so students currently enrolled in the program and will not result in any faculty layoffs.  Achieving the new accreditation would require a number of changes at MU.  For example, an increase in faculty members and additional books and programs in the college library.
