NORMA ELIA CANTÚ

NORMA-CANTUNORMA ELIA CANTÚ has been appointed the Norine R. and T. Frank Murchison Endowed Professor in Humanities at Trinity University, effective in August. She is a professor of Latina and Latino studies and English at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Cantú earned a bachelor’s from Texas A&I University (now Texas A&M International), a master’s from Texas A&I-Kingsville (now Texas A&M Kingsville), and a doctorate from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
