CRYSTAL A. WILLIAMS has been appointed associate provost for diversity and inclusion at Boston University, effective October 2017. Williams is currently an associate vice president for strategic initiatives, chief diversity officer and professor of English at Bates College. She earned a bachelor’s degree from New York University and a Master of Fine Arts from Cornell University.
