Daphne Bascom DAPHNE A. BASCOM has been appointed professor of biomedical and health informatics at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine. She is also senior vice president of community integrated health for the YMCA of Greater Kansas City. Bascom earned an M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford in England.
