ASTRID S. TUMINEZ has been named president of Utah Valley University, effective Fall 2018. Tuminez is currently the regional director for corporate, external and legal affairs in Southeast Asia for Microsoft. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, a master’s degree from Harvard University and a Ph.D. from MIT.
