LAURA KOHN-WOOD was appointed dean of the University of Miami’s School of Education and Human Development, effective July 1. Kohn-Wood served as an associate professor and chair of the Department of Educational and Psychological Studies. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Howard University and graduated from the University of Virginia with a master’s degree and doctorate.
