MARK CURTIS-CHÁVEZ has been named provost of the College of DuPage. Most recently, he served as special assistant to the president of Lone Star College-CyFair in Texas. Curtis-Chávez holds a bachelor’s in English from Indiana University, a master’s in English from Northern Illinois University and a Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Toledo. He is also the first in his family to attend college.
