BRIAN L. JOHNSON was appointed vice president of the Mercy College Manhattan Campus. Prior to his new role, Johnson served as the president of Tuskegee University. Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree from Johnson C. Smith University, a master’s in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Ph.D. in American literature from the University of South Carolina.
