LISA LOWE

LISA LOWE has been appointed as the Samuel Knight Professor of American studies at Yale University, effective January 2019. Prior to her new role, Lowe served as a distinguished professor of English and humanities and director of the Center for Humanities at Tufts University. Lowe received a bachelor’s in history from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
