May BerenbaumMAY BERENBAUM has been named editor in chief of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Currently, she is the Swanlund Chair of Entomology and professor at the University of Illinois. Berenbaum received a bachelor’s degree with summa cum laude honors from Yale University, and a Ph.D. in ecology and evolutionary biology from Cornell University.
