Marcus Cole G. MARCUS COLE has been appointed the Joseph A. Matson Dean of the Law School and professor of law at the University of Notre Dame. Prior to his new role, he was the William F. Baxter-Visa International Professor of Law at Stanford University. Cole earned a bachelor’s degree in applied economics from Cornell University and a J.D. from Northwestern University.
