MARCUS BURGESS has been named vice president of major and planned gifts at Claflin University. Most recently, he served as executive director of campaigns at York Technical College. Burgess earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Claflin University, a master’s degree from The Citadel and is currently a doctoral student at Vanderbilt University.
