AMY SUEYOSHI has been appointed the first woman dean of the College of Ethnic Studies at San Francisco State University. Prior to her new role, she served in the interim position at the college. Sueyoshi earned a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College of Columbia University and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
