Sanjay Raman SANJAY RAMAN has been named dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Previously, he served as associate vice president for Virginia Tech National Capital Region and professor at Virginia Tech. Raman earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and a master’s degree and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
