THOMAS WITHERSPOON has been named vice president for diversity and inclusion at Whitman College. He previously served as associate dean of students and director of the multicultural student support services at Denison University. Witherspoon earned a bachelor’s degree from Denison University, a master’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University and an Ed.D. from New England College.
