JOHN BLACKSHEAR has been appointed interim dean for academic affairs at the Trinity College of Arts and Sciences at Duke University. He previously served as senior associate dean for academic planning at Trinity College of Arts and Sciences. Blackshear earned a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Florida A&M University and a Ph.D. from Georgia State University.
