LORETTA SHIELDS has been appointed assistant vice president of human resources at New College of Florida. She was formerly executive director of benefits, wellness and compliance at Kent State University. Shields holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ashland University and a master’s in human resources management degree from Troy State University.
