ELIJAH SMITH has been appointed director of the debate team at Rutgers University-Newark. He previously served as curriculum director for the Global Debate Symposium. He holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration and non-profit management from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in communication and media studies from Wake Forest University.
