M. BRIAN BLAKE has been appointed provost at George Washington University. He previously served as provost and executive vice president for academic affairs at Drexel University. Blake earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, a master’s degree from Mercer University and a Ph.D. from George Mason University.
