CHERYL EVANS JONES has been appointed president of Paine College in Augusta, Ga. Jones had been serving as acting president since July 1, 2019. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Fisk University and a master’s and doctoral degree in clinical child/development psychology from The Ohio State University.
