ADIA HARVEY WINGFIELD has been named associate dean for faculty development at Washington University in St. Louis. She currently serves as professor of sociology at the institution. Wingfi eld holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Spelman College as well as a master’s degree and doctoral degree in sociology from Johns Hopkins University.
