BEVERLY WENDLAND has been named provost at Washington University. Currently dean of Johns Hopkins University’s Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, Wendland holds a bachelor’s in bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego and a Ph.D. in neurosciences from Stanford University.
