Kristie Norwood KRISTIE NORWOOD has been named director of the Student Counseling Center at Hampton University in Virginia. Previously the assistant chief of psychology at the Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Norwood holds a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University, a master’s degree in community counseling and a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Memphis.
