James TateJAMES TATE has been named chief of police at George Washington University. Most recently chief of police at Rice University, Tate started his career in the Jonesboro, Arkansas police department and was later called to active duty in the National Guard where he served for 21 years in leadership positions such as military police battalion commander and lieutenant colonel.
