Candice StoreyCANDICE STOREY LEE has been appointed interim athletic director at Vanderbilt University. She is the school’s first female athletic director and the first Black woman to lead a Southeastern Conference (SEC) athletics department. Most recently deputy director and senior woman administrator of the athletics program, Lee holds a bachelor’s in human and organizational development, a master’s in counseling and a Ph.D. in higher education administration — all from Vanderbilt.
