Currently professor of biology and senior associate dean for faculty affairs and strategic planning in the College and Arts & Sciences at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., Donoghue Velleca holds a bachelor’s from Boston College and a Ph.D. from the Washington University School of Medicine.
