MADELINE PUMARIEGA has been named president of Miami-Dade College (MDC), the country’s largest community college.
Executive vice president and provost at Tallahassee Community College, Pumariega was previously chancellor of MDC. She holds a bachelor’s from St. Thomas University, a master’s from Florida Atlantic University and is currently a doctoral candidate at Barry University.
