Cedric WinsCEDRIC T. WINS has been named interim superintendent of Virginia Military Institute, the nation’s oldest state-funded military college. He is the first Black male leader of the college in its 181-year history. A retired Army Major General, Wins graduated from the school in 1985 with a bachelor’s in economics. He holds a master’s in management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a master’s in national security and strategic studies from the National War College.
