Andre Christie MizellC. ANDRÉ CHRISTIE-MIZELL has been appointed vice provost for graduate education and dean of the Graduate School at Vanderbilt University. A professor of sociology and dean for undergraduate education in the College of Arts and Science at the university, Christie-Mizell holds a bachelor’s from Oberlin College, a master’s and a Ph.D. in sociology and social psychology from The Ohio State University.
