CHRISTINE JOHNSON MCPHAIL

CHRISTINE JOHNSON MCPHAIL has been named president of Saint Augustine’s University. She succeeds her husband, Irving Pressley McPhail, who died last fall as a result of COVID-19 complications. Most recently a professor of practice at the John E. Roueche Center for Community College Leadership at Kansas State University, McPhail holds a master’s from California State University and a doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Southern California.
