ANDRE MARSHALL has been named vice president for research, innovation, and economic development at George Mason University. He will also serve as president of the GMU Research Foundation and as a faculty member in the Volgenau School of Engineering. Currently director of the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps Program, Marshall holds a bachelor’s and a master’s from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. from the University of Maryland.
