WINSTON SCOTT

WINSTON SCOTT has been appointed to the Eastern Florida State College Board of Trustees. A former astronaut, Scott flew on two space shuttle missions in the 1990s. Also a senior vice president at the Florida Institute of Technology, he holds a master’s in aeronautical engineering from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School. A retired Navy captain, he served as vice president of student affairs at Florida State University and served as executive director of the Florida Space Authority.
