CARLSBAD N.M.
A former community college president has been named interim executive director of New Mexico State University’s Carlsbad campus.
Ramon Dominguez, a faculty member in NMSU’s College of Education and a former president of El Paso Community College, begins his duties July 16.
Dominguez, who replaces Martin Parks, said he’s looking forward to working with the staff, faculty, students and community.
“My goal is to serve the university and the Carlsbad campus in the best possible manner,” he said.
The university said it plans to conduct a search for a permanent director.
