Texas colleges’ math-science push falling short, board says

Texas colleges and universities aren’t coming close to meeting goals to increase graduates from math and science programs and enroll more Hispanic students, according to a report released Thursday. 

That comes from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s annual “Closing the Gaps by 2015” report presented in Austin, The Dallas Morning News reported.
