N.C. Bill Would Cut Tuition for Military

RALEIGH — Legislation pending at the North Carolina General Assembly is intended to reduce tuition costs for military personnel attending North Carolina’s community colleges.

It is designed for personnel who have to temporarily stop taking classes and leave the state because of their military duties. It would let them continue to pay less than the out-of-state tuition price when they resume their coursework.
